1. Vegetarianism explained neurologically is not eating animals because they feel pain and us, as humans should have compassion towards them. I completely agree with this because I am a vegetarian, former vegan. I have always felt empathy for the animals, therefore, I decided to stop contributing to their suffering and not eat meat. Having compassion for animals makes it easier to feel compassion for people. If more people were compassionate towards animals maybe there would not be so much hatred in the world because we would be much more understanding and kinder to one another.
2. The remainder conjecture states that when looking for an answer you look for the possible scientific answers first, then if that cannot answer the question, the answers that are left can be considered. For example, if my car radio does not work and an engineer or a mechanic cannot figure out how to fix it, then I can look to the remainder conjecture for my answer. This could be anything supernatural or anything else that does not relate to science .
3. Saying that we have a genetic connection with a grain of wild rice means that we are connected with everything else in this world. By saying that we are all connected we should be more understanding with one another. Whether something or someone is living or non-living we should have some compassion.
