2.In my life I have used "magical formulas" to secure what I wanted and the perfect example would be one of my childhood memories of watching professional basketball and soccer with my grandma. My family enjoys watching sports, especially basketball and soccer. Whenever our favorite teams would play we would always root for them of course, but we always would chant a "saca saca", in spanish that means "out out" chant, hoping that the other team wouldn't score. At first I would watch my grandma do this a lot and what made me want to do it was he fact that every time my grandma would say the chant it seemed to work. Of course I wanted our teams to win and I joined in with my grandma and started chanting with her. Most of the time the chant worked. I started to believe at the time it was doing something, maybe but of course we knew it was really by chance or in this case by probability. Soccer means so much to me and my family too, so you can only imagine when the world cup comes around. Although deep down inside I know this chant we started a while ago probably doesn't cause magic to happen, my family and I still can't help but chant it when we watch soccer and basketball still, I don't think that would change anytime soon.
